Back to topThe Stilyagi Air Corps

Stilyagi (formerly the University of Michigan Science Fiction club) is organized as a not-for-profit corporation, AASFA Inc. We run this annual convention in January, have monthly book discussions, bi-weekly parties, weekly meetings, and an irregularly published clubzine we call

Better known as TANSTAAFL. Click here to LoC or contribute to the next issue. Click here for a list of Stilyagi Events. Parties are open to anyone interested in Science Fiction fandom. BYO, or better yet, bring something to share. Party information is from the Stilyagi Party List, which is scheduled by Sharon Myers Shaw and directions are published in the zine as well as our forum:

Back to topstilyagi@stilyagi.org

We have an electronic mailing list! The list is very low volume, primarily used for party and convention announcements, and discussions of interest to Science Fiction fans in the SE Michigan and SW Ontario (Canada) area. To join, send mail to majordomo@stilyagi.org, with the line "subscribe stilyagi" in the body of a message or send the word "help" for a complete list of commands. If you don't find the discussions interesting, "unsubscribe stilyagi" and join the lower-volume moderated list by putting a "subscribe stilyagi-announce" line in your message to majordomo. The mailing list is maintained by Paul Haas, who is now somewhat famous (Time magazine, wow!) for his instrumented hot tub and refrigerator on the Web. Paul also came up with the idea for the Kinetic Internet Sculpture, which we built at a con. More about us...Back to top
