Writer's Workshop Michigan authors Jim C. Hines and Catherine H. Shaffer will be running the writing workshop again at this year's ConFusion, January 20th and 21st. The workshop is scheduled for 9:00 am - 12:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday, and will be held in the Denison I room (the same room it was in last time). Participants must sign up in advance. We're planning on having 8 people attend. If you want to participate, please e-mail your science-fiction, fantasy, or horror story as a rich-text format (RTF) attachment to workshop at goblinquest.com. Stories should be no longer than 5000 words, and should be submitted in standard manuscript format. Please watch for updates here or on sff.net! Tentative deadline for applications: December 15, 2006. (This allows 5 weeks for participants to read and critique the other manuscripts.) |
