A Celebration of 25 Years of Fine Fandom...

• What: A Science Fiction Convention in South East Michigan, brought to you by the Stilyagi Air Corps. ConFusion has a 25-year tradition of entertaining programming and guests of honor, an excellent masquerade dance, fine filking, and plenty of fun room parties. ConFusion usually attracts around 1,000 members from the tri-state area and beyond.
• When: January 22-24, 1999
• Where: Returning to the Van Dyke Park Suite, Warren, MI
• Who:
  • Pro Guest of Honor - Lois McMaster Bujold - Hugo and Nebula winning author of the Miles Vorkosigan novels - Don't forget to read Shards of Honor for our discussion!
  • Science Guest of Honor - Carl Djerassi - the scientist who created the birth control pill and author of "science-in-fiction"
  • Artist Guest of Honor - Doug Chaffee - aerospace, science fiction, and fantasy artist
  • Fan Guest of Honor - Nancy Tucker Shaw - a long time fan from the Ann Arbor area, and a three-term veteran ConFusion conchair.
  • ToastMaster - Howard DeVore - longtime fan/huckster/storyteller/all-around neat guy.

  Just send your check to the P.O. Box, along with name, address, phone, email, how many adult and how many KidFusion memberships you want, or buy your membership at our ClubFusion party at ConClave, WindyCon, etc. Supporting memberships are a new type for fans who wish to support but are unsure of their ability to attend. Supporting memberships can be "converted" at the door for an additional $20, a $5 savings.
• Call for Volunteers: ConFusion is a volunteer effort - an event for SF fans run by SF fans. We are always seeking volunteers to assist in all stages of convention planning and execution.
