Science Guest of Honor
ConFusion is quite proud to present another in our series of world renowned
science guests, Carl Djerassi. A true renaissannce man, Djerassi is
most widely known as the father of the birth control pill and developer of
antihistamines, but has also founded biomedical companies, been a major
patron of the arts, taught chemistry at our own Wayne State University from
1952-59, and has now embarked on a new career as a novelist of "Science in
Fiction"... not SF, but fiction about the way science is actually practiced.
