Prices are for one to four people in a room or suite, and are subject to state and local taxes. To receive the special convention room rates, mention group code “CONF” when reserving. The hotel is now sold out, though you can try calling to check for cancellations.
The hotel does not allow pets. Please leave your familiars at home.
The Van Dyke Park and the ConFusion Committee hope to help fans with differing noise and air preferences to peaceably coexist. Please be considerate of your fellow fen by supporting the noise and air designation for the area you are in. Complaints about neighbors whose activites match the noise and air designation for a given area will be cheerfully ignored.
Noise level: The C Wing, where almost all of the $67 rooms are located, will be the (enforced) quiet area. Silent parties aren’t much fun, so please don’t host a party in the quiet area. If you are hosting a party, you’ll get more traffic and activity if you reserve a poolside room, a second floor suite (non-smoking) or a third floor suite (smoking).
Air type: All the poolside rooms ($77) face one atrium, the southwest corner of which will contain a designated smoking area. If you have a severe problem with smoke, please don’t reserve a poolside room. The remainder of the hotel is divided into smoking floors and non-smoking floors.
The Quality Inn is now booked up. We are speaking with the Hampton Inn, also on Van Dyke, to see if they still have rooms available.
Shuttle service between the two hotels will be provided by the Quality Inn upon request. Check our website (www.stilyagi.org/cons/confusion.html) for more details as they develop.
